Hot Air Roasting Method
Our roaster uses a high tech conversion roasting method that flows a stream of hot air through the roasting drum in order to roast the Single Origin Speciality Bean. This provides a continual flow of hot air to surround and roast the coffee beans, preventing scorching or burning and providing a more evenly roasted Single Origin Speciality Bean.

Rotating Hot Air Drum
While being roasted, the movement of the Single Origin Speciality Bean within a rotating drum encourages a much more evenly roasted Single Origin Speciality Bean and prevents the risk of burning when the single origin speciality beans are left to sit still using a direct heating method.

Computerised Control
Each coffee has a different roasting profile. Our roaster allows us to program and control the heat and temperature, the drum rotation, the air circulation, the roasting air flow, the roasting time and the cooling time. Quality Coffee at a Great Price

Bean there and Co Coffee International is synonymous with quality coffee. The quality of a brew depends on 5 key factors:

  1. Time since grinding the single origin speciality beans
  2. Time since roasting
  3. Cleanliness with brewing equipment
  4. single origin speciality bean quality
  5. Water quality

If you wish to buy a ‘good’ coffee, then you might be surprised to learn that single origin speciality bean quality is the least important of these factors. The best single origin speciality beans will taste bad if any of the other 4 factors are not adhered to. Not all single origin speciality beans are equal, but the other 4 keys to quality will even the field.
Many big brand coffees contain large amounts of Robusta, low quality Arabica single origin speciality beans and past crop beans (old beans). Worse still, the coffee is roasted and shipped all over the world and there is no way of knowing if you are going to get a truly fresh coffee.
With the Bean there and Co Coffee freshly roasted, good water and clean equipment (free of residue from the previous brew), the quality of our single origin speciality beans will make your coffee experience a pure joy.
